"Zwornikins is a meditation. With an extremely prolific career juxtaposed with little to no promotion, his work is like a rumor. True, mastermind Matt Muslin doesn't play out every week like the rest of us, but trapped in his universe he produces pieces that transport the soul through sonic stimulation. In light of his extensive high quality discography, Grownup Music decided to release a compilation of his work over the past three years.

Ill-pronounced as they might be, Zwornikins' ambient inclinations sway and swoon above the listener's head. Although the pieces stem from different releases over a decent amount of time, there's a strange cohesiveness permeating the tracklist. The shorter numbers on the first half transition swiftly between each other, keeping an oxymoronic active pace for the listener to follow. The monotony breaks in pieces with subtle developments of texture over each of the sample filled, deeply organic textures. The gargantuan closer "Excerpts from "Mike Powers Presents the Heaven Relaxation Facility" is secure enough in its message to stay grounded and only change naturally, as a person discovering a new world. Imagine towns, villages, mills and mountains, imagine them drenched in palettes of green and yellow, imagine yourself within".
